I suggested Prince of Tides for my book club discussion tonight. It was on a list of 25 books to read before you die :). I had only missed this and two others. WHERE HAD I BEEN!? Wonderful and I am doing my research to lead the discussion tonight as the movie plays in the background. The Water is Wide will be my next read. THANK YOU!

Dear Nancy Link, you are in a place where everybody is a Pat Conroy fan. Frankly fan is to light of a word since we all around here (and in many other places) simply love Pat Conroy with a fierce devotion.

Please know the a major event is coming up soon and will be celebrated at the "Pat Conroy Literary Festival" https://patconroyliteraryfestival.org this October... that is 50 years of THE WATER IS WIDE which had a great effect on so many people... many decided to choose a teaching career...
