Mr. Conroy,
I read Prince of Tides while vacationing on Edisto Island. The magic doubled when my four uncles taught me to shag on a beach house back porch right before I read Beach Music. For my first anniversary (the paper one), my husband gave me a first edition, signed copy of Beach Music. Please put the novel on Kindle so that I can take it everywhere.

Thank you,
Marci

Hi Pat,
What a story (SOUTH of BROAD)! I laughed, cried, and was so sad when it ended, like losing my own family and friends. MY LOSING SEASON was also another wonderful story. I look forward to your next 3 books.

Blessings for continuing good health. Hey, I'm selfish, I want you to stay healthy and WRITE!!

I started reading Pat Conroy novels in high school (circa 1982-1986) and even wrote my senior english paper on Pat Conroy and his use of discipline.

I love his novels, everytime one comes out I devour it a day or two and can never wait until the next one comes out.

I have read every book published by Mr. Conroy and hope to continue to enjoy his wonderful writings. Thanks for many years of enjoyable literature.

Thanks so much!

Hi Pat,
Is it possible to order an autographed copy of your upcoming new book from the Fripp Island store mentioned by either you or your wife. I'm heading to Italy to help my daughter and her family with their fall olive harvest and pressing and would like to take your new book to read while there. If I can bring back enough fresh olive oil I'll send a bottle to the book store for you. Thank you.

In an ferocious effort, I've got all of your novels, of which I've now read The Water is Wide, Beach Music, Prince of Tides, and Great Santini. But what happened to your The Boo. Where can I get it?

Hi Pat,

I can't thank you enough for writing such wonderful novels! I usually find it really difficult to read (maybe due to short span of concentration), but reading your novel is a great joy! Through your words, I gained knowledge and made me really want to visit South Carolina for once!

I read 'South of Broad' earlier this year (couldn't get it any earlier because it was not available in stores yet!), and it was as lovely as the past books I've read of yours! I smiled and cried along with the novel. I really love this, but my favorite has still got to be 'Beach Music'.

Now I just have to find some time to read 'My Losing Season' which I've bought but not yet read.

Hope you'll bring us more to read soon! Stay in good health always! Bless u~

I have read most of your novels, and you can make me cringe, and have to put it down and just let it do its job.
When I think that I've read the best part of your story, I'm again blindsighted by another explosion of literary genius. I've done more soul searching of my own life from your creative genius and ability to describe your trials and tribulations of coming to become what makes you exceptionable, and unique. I cannot go to your latest novel as I just finished My Losing Season, and Beach Music, which I had to put down, and never got back to.
I will read Beach Music again as it has me in another world. I will get to your latest novel with the same intensity that I gave to your other creative works of Art.
You have found your niche in Life. God Bless You.

I just finished South of Broad for the second time in a month. Great story and wonderful writing. Your description of the moment that changed Leo's life - finding Steve - was remarkable and so touching that it brought me to tears. Your stories are so real and interesting...I have read The Great Santini, Prince of Tides and Beach Music...I'll be reading them all. You have a great talent. Thank you.

I am in love with your books. Until I went to this site I thought I was the only person who read your books over and over especially beach music. When I read your books I become so involved with your characters I talk about them like they are members of my family
