Dear Pat,

Last weekend my husband and I have cooked one of the recipes on your cookbook: the best white chocolate & pistacchio cookies we have ever tasted.

So I have read all your books, I have translated one of them (The Lords of Discipline because it is not translated into Spanish and I wanted my family to read it) and now I can say I have cooked from your them! And I will definitely do it again.

Thanks for so much joy!

I am continuously rotating your books through my reading list at all times. I am currently reading "Beach Music" again and it still touches me like no other book I've ever read. I also have a passion for cooking and have enjoyed your cook book immensely. Thanks for sharing your life and loves with us!

My all time favorite book is Beach Music. I just read South of Broad, and this nudged me to go back and re-read ALL of your books. I am in awe! I am currently listening to "The Water is Wide" audio production, and am thoroughly entertained and inspired. I was once young and idealistic too.
You're story telling is captivating. Hope we hear from you again soon!

I have felt for a long time that Beach Music was the best book I had ever read. I just finished South of Broad and savored every word I read. I would read only a chapter at a time so I could savor the book and have it last as much as I wanted to continue reading and not want it to end. Thank you Pat Conroy for your incredible characters and for making me feel like I am in your city. Please don't wait another long time to write again.

My introduction into your amazing world of writing was Beach Music. I was in love with all the characters and actually put the book down while reading it to make it last longer. I had never done that before as I tend to race through the books I read. I then went out and bought your other books and enjoyed them slowly, lingering over the pages. South of Broad was equally captivating and I once again fell in love with your characters. Thank you for sharing your gift with us. Our family vacation spot is Folly Beach, which my daughter picked at random several years ago, and when I can't get there, your books take me to South Carolina, a place we have learned to love.

"South of Broad" is the first of your books that I have read, but it will not be the last. I have "Prince of Tides" on my nightstand and I plan to read them all. They are what I learned to read for.
