By the time I read in the AJC about your upcoming appearance at the Carter Center & tried to order tickets, it was sold out. PLEASE see if they could move it to a larger room so that more of us could attend. My friends & I are SO disappointed. I've enjoyed all of your books & look forward to this new one but would especially enjoy hearing you speak.

I just finished an advanced copy of South of
Broad and I didn't want it to end. I have
loved everyone of your books and hope you
don't make us wait so long again. I wonder
how much (if any) is S Of B autobiographical.

Best wishes on great sales!

Mr. Conroy,
I have heard you speak on a number of occasions and never fail to be enthralled. I can hardly wait to read your latest novel since any descriptions of that enchanting city grip me, but yours, I know, will keep me spellbound. Is there a masked ball in this one? Actually, it sounds far more serious and provocative in other ways as we meander in another century as your fans. Thanks for a new work of fiction to sink into. Your admirer, Loretta Cobb

The Prince of Tides is my all time favorite book, so I've been eagerly waiting for South of Broad. I'm working on a book myself, and go back and forth between long hand and using a computer. Once you do a first draft long hand, do you then key it into your computer for revisions? Just curious! Please say hello to Sandra for me... she's been kind to me in my writing journey.

I became acquainted with your work when I saw a movie on HBO over 20 years ago - "The Ace" - which was really "The Great Santini". Since then I have read everything except the cookbook. Will get "South of Broad" next week when available. We now have a home on Harbor Island - I understand the draw of the lowcountry. We plan to retire there.

I have been waiting with bated breath for South of Broad for the past few months. I read "Prince of Tides" in highschool and fell in love with not only the book but with Mr. Conroy's sense of humor and writing style.
I know that I will devour South of Broad - just as I had done with all of his other novels.
Welcome back Mr. Conroy!! :)

Congratulations Mr. Conroy on all of your success! I am 15 and going into my sophmore year. Just a few moments ago, I finished your book My Losing Season, the first of yours that I have read for my school summer reading. I just want to let you know how much your writing has completely entranced me for the past weeks! You inspire me so much as a dedicated athlete, and more importantly, as a person. I have loved reading your insights and morals, and I will always remember them. I have also been hoping to write some stories of my own, and you have inspired me in many ways. I can only hope that I will be able to write with as much heart as you.
Thank you for everything! Tyler Perini
